Sizebooru

This is a quick message to anyone who reads this regarding Sizebooru:

For the past ...well over a year, Artie has graciously hosting our booru experiment Sizebooru. Trouble was, the experiment turned out much better than Phrog and I thought. MUCH better. We were getting thousands of visitors a month, and Artie's setup couldn't handle it very well: hence all the downtime and slow downs you may have noticed.  Artie eventually decided to pack up shop, at least as far as his own sites were concerned (Nothing to do with us or our traffic), but as a result, we had to look elsewhere for hosting.

What we thought would be a couple week process of finding someone turned out to be a few long months.  Not because there were suitors, but because of a two fold problem of the software that was used for Sizebooru, and the traffic that Sizebooru brought with it.  We found a host with bigfurs, and it was brought up for a day as a test, hence Phrog nor I announced anything.  It turns out people were waiting at the gates.  The traffic that it met, coupled with continued software problems, brought the new Sizebooru down very quickly.

It is back up, if you notice, but this situation is temporary. Eventually Sizebooru will cost money.  How that money will be paid has yet to be decided, but one of the results will undoubtedly be ads. Yes, ads suck, and are the bane of our Internet existance. But we plan on using unobtrusive banners like Danbooru.  It is one of the downfalls to being too big for our britches.  If we want Sizebooru to stick around (and the thousands of hits on the first day back up say youu want it), this will have to happen.  I have no idea if we will also be accepting donations or special accounts, though I doubt it, as that would create a headache that Phrog and I simply don't have time for.

We'll see what happens.  Enjoy Sizebooru for now though, and it won't be going away without a fight.

Years works

Here are finished and unfinished works over the year. I dont' really have time to summarize them all, so just comment or make a question and I will reply:

Office Lady Love

As you probably know from my works, I love Asian women. There are many reasons for this, but one is in the Japanese culture of OL, or Office Lady.

The typical office lady embodies what I love about women, and asian women in particular.  Young, good-looking, generally depicted in manga as strong-willed, and of course, the usual attire of pantyhose and skirts.

It's should be no surprise then, that I have made several collages over the years using them as a source.  I have decided to bunch the ones I do(did) with a common watermark, and who knows, perhaps a common gallery in a future updated website.

I don't know what it is about the combination of pantyhose and skirts that drive me nuts. And they always seem to look better on women of asian decent -- perhaps because I have noticed they have better, smoother legs.

Enjoy!

Jodagee's Family Guy small update

Hey all,

I am working on cataloging and organizing my pics better in an effort to be ready for a new website for my works.

In doing so, I am catching up some some unfinished business.  I promised to update Lois's bra and other cosmetic changes to the colored pic a long time ago. Finding it again, and 15 minutes later, I did it.

I adore lacy, well-designed lingerie (especially bras), and to show how obsessed I am, I even modeled Lois' bra after a real one, the Panache Tango Balconette underwire. I like to model all the bras I draw after real ones, ha.

Lingerie Series #1: Hook 'Em

A bonus to anyone who checks this blog:

I am trying to see how quickly I can complete something.  I have asparations to do something one a week having to do with GTS/SM and lingerie.  We'll see where it goes.  This is a test, I dunno when I would start trying.

 Anyways, enjoy!

Apologies

I know there are people who check this blog from time to time.

I intended this as a showcase to show off WIPs.  The only thing is I haven't any more WIPs.

I can see now, truly, in my life that there is very little to no time to dedicate to GTS drawing. I am out of school, and have been for years now, and thus "real life" is in full swing.  Most are sympathetic, but i get the occasional angry email venting over why I haven't updated this or that pic.  I take it as a compliment in part that people like my work enough to see it finished -- but at the same time I hope those people realize how life really works.  I hate the unfinished status of my work more than anyone, trust me.

There is not much at this point that I can do about it. A while back, I used to think that someday I could do it all, and thus claim I could finish it. It was a fool's errand at best.

Does that mean I am gone for good, or that this blog is completely dead before it really even gained steam? No and not really.  I'm still around the community, but time permits me to just check up every once in a while and also clean up Sizebooru.  The blog isn't dead .. I am still here, right? But there aren't many new works to post, and honestly, this blog system is not very handy for posting, neither.

I would encourage people to go to the GTS Depot, the GTS Oekaki or check back here once in a while, in the case that I do finish something new.  I am totally not ruling that out.

In the mean time, here are some finished things I did for the Depot, and some also really really quick sketchy stuff that will probably never see a finished state.

 Cheers!

Back from the Break

Hey all!

I told you it would be one month, and --- it may have been just a BIT past that, but at least i have something to show in the month of October.

I am posting the original Family Guy drawing by Jodagee, and then my edit, ink and flat color job.  I was recently inspired by a Youtube clip I saw with Lois getting some holy BE to finish this piece I had sitting half inked.

Edits are quite obvious, so I won't go into great detail here -- enjoy!!

Taking a short break..

It's amazing how PC's have connected us and given us tons of information at our finger tips -- but at the same time, they are our biggest distractions.

Hence, due to work and wanting to work within other regions of art, I will be taking a break from updating my GTS work and this blog.

I say about a month -- so please don't forget about me and this blog!

...Just check back around October. And you can always feel free to comment on the past posts -- in fact, I encourage you to! I wlil continue to read feedback, as well as be semi-involved with Sizebooru and the site coming soon, giganti.ca

Later!

Dialog Contest: Micro Collage

Free Image Hosting at imageturtle.com

For shits and giggles, I made this mock up..

It wasn't too hard, just google search for actions for the tinies...and found a good model.

Anyways, I can do that part well enough.

But I can't think of anything good for the dialog. That's where you come in.

Go ahead and reply with your idea of what fits for this picture.

I don't have any money or candy to give away, but 2 minutes of thinking of something can mean that your choice is on this pic.

 Full size pic here: http://www.sizebooru.com/post/view/1813

(EDIT, sorry, it was late at night when I typed this, it is NOT a caption contest, rather a dialog contest...though I wlll suggestions for both.)

Suzi Update

I haven't been able to update my blog as much as I would like to, mainly because of being busy (as is usual).

However, I do have a smallish update on the Suzi pic. Going to go full out soft vore with a lot of tongue shots. I also uploaded a close up of panel one. Just because I enjoyed how I drew those characters, and also the image uploader here won't let me upload the full sized Suzi pic to show it off.

Info

This is a (temporary) space where I will post my GTS works-in-progress.

The purpose is to let everyone know what I am working on, as well as getting feedback from you guys. It is worthless to have this if I don't get some feedback.

Crits, suggestions, ideas, comments -- everything is welcome!!
